Hanging Gardens, about 25 km
Surrounded by cliffs indented with troglodyte caves, this village is situated on the banks of the river Beaume. Wandering through a network of narrow streets you discover stone houses and little passageways. A castle towers over the village and the surrounding countryside from the top of its rock. The rocky promontory is designed in a series of terraces called "hanging gardens" which overlook the river and provide excellent view points.
